I was having difficulty linking my bank with Carolina Trust so I could make my car payments. The first branch was closer to my home, but I didn’t get my problem resolved and found the employee to be rude.
I decided to go to another location and was very pleased with the service and level of professionalism I received from Tammy! I wanted to set it up for auto pay and she took care of that too.

I’ve been coming to Carolina Trust FCU since 2008 and have been using them since. I have never had one bad experience here . The employees here always deliver service that’s nothing less than staggering. Shannon and Tracey are just a couple of the bank tellers that always greet me with a smile and provide top notch service. As far as financial institutions are concerned , the employees at Carolina Trust are the best in the industry.

CTFCU is a 2nd account and needed to link it to a primary account. It was tricky but Morgan Woodrum at the Surfside branch knew exactly what to do. Not only is she skilled at her applications she was completely friendly and professional through the whole process. I couldn't have thanked her more. Well done!!

We have been with Carolina trust for probably close to 50 years. Every time you walk into a Carolina trust credit union all you see is smiling faces from the time you enter the door until the time you leave. We’ve even gotten to know some of them on a personal basis. As far as their Customer Service goes, we’ve never had a problem and all those years that hasn’t been able to be fixed ASAP. I would highly recommend Carolina trust to anybody that wanted a bank that they could trust. Independent on. Never let us down.

My husband and I have known each other for 40 years and he was banking with Carolina dressed back when it was mainly for Air Force. And now they’ve opened it to the public so we’ve been banking with Carolina trust for probably 50 years or better. I love the fact that every time you walk in the door where whatever branch it may be, there’s always smiling faces behind the counter welcoming you to be there. The Customer Service is amazing in all the times that we have been in with an issue has been resolved immediately with no problems. If I had to choose another bank, I don’t think I’d put my money in a bank. I love Carolina trust and I think that you would too. I love these guys.

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is the best Credit Union that I have ever experienced! The second best Credit Union is one, that myself and 6 of my coworkers started in 1966 where we each put $5.00 in the middle of the table for a total of $35.00 and created a Federal Credit Union at the Firestone manufacturing plant in Hopewell, VA where I worked. We are still a small local Credit Union, $35,000.00 serving a small field of membership in a small town that has lost it's manufacturing base, but have come a long way from it's beginnings. I am now a Board Member emeritus after serving on the Board and other various Committees since the beginning in 1966.

Best bank ever!! I’ve been with Carolina Trust for over a decade, have checking & savings accounts, have financed multiple vehicles, and have a low interest credit card with them. Their fraud protection is top notch and they are behind the scenes protecting my money at all times. I don’t see me banking anywhere else!

While going through the process of moving some of my banking I’ll say I’m changing banks because of the kindness and professionalism of Mrs. Fleming. It really stands out these days when you experience genuinely concerned customer service.

My boyfriend and I visited this branch to open accounts earlier today. Our appointment was scheduled with Colleen, the branch manager, who was training an associate, Tammy. Both were extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and informative! We both left feeling very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of our accounts, even having already logged into the mobile banking app before leaving her office! The entire branch is very well maintained and the staff are very friendly and willing to help. I'd recommend for anyone new to the area who needs a bank account, especially for the younger generation. Credit unions are the best banking investment you can make and I implore ANYONE residing in Horry County to look into banking with CTFCU!

Had to deposit a large check to our credit union out of state. Found out we could do so at a shared branch which for us was
Carolina Trust. Went in about an hour before closing on Friday and Pam walked us through the process. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough. Simple and quick. Made us feel we were in good hands. Definitely recommend.

Hazel’s service was exceptional, making me feel truly appreciated and valued as a customer. Even though I was closing some accounts due to a move, Hazel treated me with the utmost respect and diligence. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing, reminiscent of the family-like ‘ohana’ spirit of Hawaii. Highly recommend this branch for their outstanding customer service!

They may not have Apple Pay but their rates are great and Reena (Branch Manager) is awesome. She's extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I really appreciate her and her team who all pitched in to help me through my most recent car loan. Great people all around and I can't say enough good things about this bank. I have been an account holder at Carolina trust for over 8 years and have had my car loan through them for 4 years. Recently I moved to New York and to say I was having difficulty registering my car in New York would be beyond an understatement! I was transferred to Francisco Garcia who not only went above and beyond to help me but was one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working with. I could not stress enough how wonderful friendly and supportive this banking institution is and I highly highly recommend them if you are looking for a new bank or tired of he one you are with ! 10/10

I contacted several different Credit Unions in South Carolina, some were even national and the only one who actually responded to me was Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union. I had my initial appointment with Hazel who was great. I have since worked with Judy Leery and Kelly Rowland. There has not been a time that I called that someone didn't answer or call me back immediately. I have even come into the office without an appointment and I was helped as soon as humanly possible. I have used the tellers as well and I amazed at the knowledge and professionalism of your entire staff. If I could give each person, from your receptionist to everyone in this branch 10 stars I would. I will also recommend them to everyone I know. I applied for a loan on June 5th of 2024 at 5pm, the next morning at 10 AM I was assigned a loan officer (Dustin Daniels) and by Friday, I was approved for a loan. Probably could’ve been sooner if I would’ve had all of my ducks in a row but nevertheless, Dustin Daniels made applying for and receiving a loan stress free! I must say that if you guy's could clone Jawan Mack, you should. My account got locked because I didn't remember my pin number. He didn't make me feel stupid. I am a 20+ year account holder (member) with CTFCU. Today I brought a friend in who needed to find out if she could qualify for a car loan without bring a member. We met with Judy Lerry, and she was fabulous! I was sincerely impressed with her knowledge, the tips she offered, and just her overall demeanor, in helping my friend. We left (after hours even!) with such positive feelings and feeling very confident that she will be able to complete the transaction by the first of the week. Have been a CTFCU customer for almost 2 decades now. Friendly staff, great customer benefits, generally quick and efficient service. Most of the other banks in MB have changed ownership or names multiple times. Not CTFCU. My husband and I have built relationships with long time employees. Several locations. Love having the benefits of a credit union as opposed to a regular bank. We have checking accounts, saving accounts, joint accounts, youth accounts for our daughters. Have gotten loans, wire transfers, checks cashed, money orders, etc. Great financial institution!!

Carolina trust is a great bank to do business with. I went in for a loan talked with Brian Dugan over at Homestown Road and he was awesome. He was able to Worked out a loan for me so I could buy a new car. I went to the dealership which is in Conway to check out another Vehicle due to the one that I wanted was sold. Brian prepared everything for me and when I called him told him the Kia was a go. Brian told me I did not have to go all the way back to Holmestown Road and he would have Hazel get the check Ready. So I went to 21st Ave which saved me time to have to go all the way back to Holmes town Road. We finished up all the paperwork and I took the check over to the dealership. This Bank is always friendly courteous and very helpful. And it doesn’t matter which branch you go into they’re all great. Thank you Brian Dugan and Hazel Maynes for making this happen so easy and quickly for me. You both were such a pleasure to to business with.

Hazel in Customer Service in the Myrtle Beach 21st Ave office, saved our vacation by helping us with a credit card issue. She was very passionate and very kind. We've been members since the 80's. Best place at the beach for car loans. Hazel Maynes handles our car loans from the main office on 21st ave N. She took great care of us! We have probably financed 7-8 cars from them over the years.

Came inside the branch for a shared deposit. It was my first time banking here since I moved, and the teller was really helpful, showing me how to fill out the shared branching slip. Everyone was very personable and nice - even their interactions with each other were jovial. All in all, they made me feel welcomed as if it were my own home branch regardless of where I actually keep my money.

40 plus years and I still love doing business with CTFCU. I have met good, bad and ugly but kindness and being polite is the way. Our attitudes and body language speaks volumes about how other people respond.

We have been members for quite a few years now and have never had any issues at the Conway location. Yes drive thru is slower than should be but there is only ever one person handling 3 lanes of customers, need to work on that CTFCU. Anytime we have went inside we were acknowledged promptly and served in a timely manner by a friendly face.
